FLEUR DE LIS COMPASS BOX

$16.00

The fluers-de-lis is a symbol that is easily recognizable in the city of Louisville, where NSSAR headquarters is located. The French “lily flower” is the official symbol of the city and exemplifies the city’s early connection with France. Louisville was named for the king of France Louis XVI who aided the Americans in winning the Revolutionary War.

This 3" square bone box opens to reveal a 1-3/4" brass bound compass inlaid in white bone. It is engraved with a Fleur de Lis.
This is a great gift item and would make an excellent paper weight.
