I have made out over 1,500 Eagle Scout certificates, using both versions. This version is better than the other because it can be run through an inkjet printer. However, it's biggest disadvantage is that the shiny surface is not conducive to inkjet. The ink will splatter as it goes through the printer. Also, these must be printed one at a time because when a certificate lands on another, it will smear the one already in the tray. (I often print 25-30 at a time, so this make the process very slow.) I highly recommend that these blank certificates be printed on a card stock that will absorb the ink.
